Local’s Tip: From the ocean to the high water mark, all the beaches on Hilton Head Island are public, however, beach access is often located on private property. There are several beach parks on the island providing public beach access to 12 miles of uncrowded, natural beaches and glistening ocean waters that beckon you to play.
